U.P. Town Center
U.P. Town Center (UPTC) is a shopping center along Katipunan Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. Managed by Ayala Malls, it opened in September 2013. Its location near prestigious schools such as the is what made it known as the “first and only university town center.” UPTC offers a myriad of options for audiences of all ages, but its primary market are students for its convenience. SM City North Edsa
SM City North Edsa is a shopping mall located at the intersection of North Avenue and EDSA in Quezon City. It is the first SM Supermall in the country and the largest shopping mall in the Philippines. Operated by SM Prime Holdings, the mall first opened in 1985. Through the years, the mall has gone through several redevelopment, opening new areas and expansions. It began with the Car Park Plaza in 1988, the SM Annex in 1989, the Block in 2006, The Annex and Interior Zone in 2008, the Sky Garden in 2009 and The Northlink in 2010.
The vast complex is also home to SM Cyber West Avenue, a 15-level structure of commercial and office spaces.
TriNoma, owned by Ayala Land, opened in 2007. Its name is taken from its location at “North Triangle,” where it is bound by three major roads: North Avenue, EDSA, and Mindanao Avenue. It is directly connected to the North Avenue MRT Station, and the mall is one bridge away from SM City North Edsa.
The mall is best known for its water features and landscaping. These features flow into pools at the TriNoma Park, a green area that sits atop the mall. TriNoma is also famous for its al fresco areas accessible from the inside main shopping area, a favorite for hanging out.
Ayala Vertis North
Opened in 2017, Ayala Vertis North is located at Triangle Park, an emerging business district in Quezon City. The mall complex has grown rapid popularity for being one of the more hip and young hangouts in the city. It’s best known for its unique layout since it opened, dividing two areas based on Korean and Japanese brands.
