You need not worry about arriving at work late or even going home in the wee hours of the morning. After office hours, the area shows a totally different side. Salcedo Village plays host to numerous bars, cafés, and restaurants that dot its tree-lined streets, perfect venues for after-office drinks, company events, fancy lunches with clients, and even weekend brunch with family and friends. Salcedo Village offers virtually every possible condo real estate there is, from relatively older ones built in 1990s and early 2000s, to newly built condo developments by some of the country’s well-known developers. Both have their own pros and cons. Most of the older condo properties in the area offer much bigger apartments compared to newer ones. A two-bedroom condo apartment in Two Salcedo Place—a project of Ayala Land—has a floor area of 156 sqm, while a two-bedroom unit in One Central by Megaworld Corp. has an area of 102 sqm. One Central, Two Central, and Three Central (Megaworld Corp.)
These three projects by Megaworld Corp. are located at the western section of Salcedo Village close to Gil Puyat Avenue. One Central is at the corner of H.V. Dela Costa and Geronimo Streets, and features a butterfly-shaped architecture. It is single-tower, two-wing development (50 and 42 stories) that features Art Deco-inspired details and blue-green glass curtain walls. Two and Three Central, on the other hand, are 42- and 50-story residential towers along Valero Street that share the same two-level podium shopping mall—the first in Salcedo Village. One Salcedo Place, Two Salcedo Place, and Three Salcedo Place (Ayala Land)
These three projects developed by Ayala Land are located just across the Jaime Velasquez Park. One Salcedo Place is situated along Velasquez Street, while Two and Three Salcedo Place are along Tordesillas Street. They are among the first condo developments built by Ayala Land, completed in 1997, 1998, and 1999, respectively. Ponte Salcedo is a single-tower condo development along Valero Street developed by Vernida Realty Development Corp.
