Nuvali To Double Office Leasable Space
Nuvali, Ayala Land’s growing district in Calamba, Laguna which was launched in 2009, is anticipated to become the next Makati CBD in the South. The 2,290-hectare development is said to expand its office leasable space to 60, 000 square meters from its current area of 31, 000 square meters. This development on leasing space of Nuvali will cause Ayala Land to spend another 12.5-billion to the Nuvali project.
According to Ayala Land Head of Strategic Landbank Management Group Meean Dy, Nuvali is progressing rapidly as they cross the five-year mark. It was reported last month that Ayala Land generated Php 2.7-billion sales from its most recent residential project Riomonte, an 85-hectare residential development in Nuvali South.
Furthermore, the development of Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), a public-private partnership program of the government, is believed to further boost interest of investors and consumers from Metro Manila, Cavite and nearby provinces.
Moreover, several projects for expansion that are expected to push through next year include:
- Solenad 3, a 40, 000 square meter commercial shopping complex as an extension to Solenad 1 and 2;
- Opening of new projects such as membership shopping center S & R which is set to be launched on the fourth quarter;
- Quali-Med, 100-bed general hospital that is set to open on the second quarter of 2016;
- Other projects in the works including outdoor recreational activities site Camp N, and Everest Academy, an international Catholic school.
So far, Ayala Land has spent Php 43.7 billion to launch residential, office and retails developments in Nuvali.
